Scenic Train Rides Begin May 28th

Our quick & convenient online ticketing system is ready for 2011. Of course tickets may still be purchased at the station when you arrive as well. Buying online has certain advantages as it gives you an assured seat on the train that you choose, which is piece of mind especially with seasonal peak trains such as Fall Foliage, Santa Claus Trains and other special events. There is nothing more disappointing after a long drive than to to hear that we are sold out.

Flying Yankee Open House

A Special announcement by the Flying Yankee Restoration Group is extended open house days plus an unveiling scheduled for this year.  06/11 is the date that the tent that is covering the FY is scheduled to be removed allowing a full view of the streamliner.  Over the Winter they were busy weatherproofing the FY so that it can withstand the elements.  The 5 year old temporary covering is at the end of its expected life and should be removed anyway. 07/02-07/04 is a full 3 day open house, 08/06 for one day and 09/03-09/05 plus 10/07-10-09 are also included in the open house schedule. This will give the pubic more access to the 1934 streamliner.  More information at www.flyingyankee.com
